Warhammer - The Silent King Basisquiz

Szarekh, known as the Silent King, is the last ruler of the ancient Necrontyr and the supreme leader of the Necron Infinite Empire. His story reaches back to the War in Heaven, when the Necrontyr fought the Old Ones and eventually turned to the C’tan for help. The resulting Biotransference transformed the Necrontyr into immortal beings of living metal, creating the Necrons. After the Necrons defeated the Old Ones, Szarekh eventually led a rebellion against the C’tan and shattered the star gods into fragments. With his people weakened by countless wars, he ordered the Necrons into the Great Sleep, leaving their Tomb Worlds dormant for millions of years. Szarekh alone departed into intergalactic space, beginning a self-imposed exile. The Silent King eventually returned to the galaxy after encountering the Tyranids and now seeks to reunite the Necron dynasties. His return places him at the center of the modern Warhammer 40,000 setting.
